If you’re familiar with Jay-Z’s 1996 debut, Reasonable Doubt, then you’re familiar with the chemistry he has with Mary J. Blige. The two have confirmed they will be co-headlining a national tour entitled “Heart of the City” beginning in March.
This is a major look for hip hop and R &B as two of its biggest and most respected stars get together to present a grown up side of the culture to the masses. Blige has frequently joined Jay on stage during renditions “Heart of the City,” “Can’t Knock the Hustle” and “Song Cry.” This is a sure must-see so save up you pennies grab a date and go catch that.
